What exactly did I have in my backpack? Do you really want to know? Well, here it is! For the record, I did overpack and would recommend packing as light as you can; remember, you're going to be walking all over town with this on your back!

A closer look at what I brought...
  • 5 pairs of underwear
  • 4 pairs of full-length socks and 2 pairs of ankle-high socks
  • 2 pairs of shorts
  • 1 bathing suite
  • 2 pants: 1 corduroy that I could use as a formal wear, 1 pant that could change into a capri by rolling the legs up
  • 1 pair of pants that could zip off to become shorts
  • 1 black belt
  • 2 collared shirts
  • 3 t-shirts
  • 1 fleece
  • 1 wind-breaker
  • 1 quick-dry bath towel
  • My toiletries that consisted of the basics and a bunch of Allegra (for my allergies that I surprisingly had no troubles with while in Europe), Pepto Bismol, Tylenol, and an H20 mineral facial scrub to keep my face feeling fresh and oil-free… hey, the thing works!
  • 1 sandal, 1 flip-flops, 1 casual walking shoes that I used as a formal shoe
  • 26 rolls of film

"Is that all?"

No, actually I had a second pack that I used as a daypack and a camera pack. This, I carried on the front of myself while I had my backpack on the back. This pack had miscellaneous items such as:

  • Paper & pen
  • Let's Go Western Europe guidebook
  • 1 disposable camera
  • 1 750ml water bottle or 1L juice bottle
  • My camera, lenses, and peripherals
